At Aven, therapy is a place to slow down and be met with care. We work together to understand your emotional world, explore patterns shaped by past experiences, and develop steadier ways of relating to yourself and others. There’s no rush and no expectation to be anything other than where you are.
Meet the Team
Amanda is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and the founder of Aven Counselling. She offers trauma-informed, emotionally focused therapy in a calm, supportive space, allowing clients to feel consistently seen, understood, and cared for throughout their work together.

A supportive space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of what you’re carrying. Individual counselling is collaborative and paced with care, offering room to explore emotions, patterns, and life transitions in a way that feels steady and grounded.
Youth
Counselling
A safe and supportive space for teens to talk, process, and build emotional understanding. Youth counselling is relational and age-appropriate, supporting young people through big feelings, stress, and changes at home or school.
Perinatal Counselling
Support through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. Perinatal counselling offers space to process anxiety, overwhelm, identity shifts, and birth experiences with care that honours the complexity of this season.
